  In this video, Elizabeth begins by explaining how the Otterbein Queer Digital Archive came to be over the course of many years. She goes on to discuss her experience in Otterbein’s LGBTQIA+ organization, FreeZone, both as a member and as the organization’s president.

  Julia Tenbusch discusses their experience with being an aromantic and asexual student at Otterbein. They describe their personal history with their identity and the ways they have experienced their identity at the university, including specific memories and the education of others.

  In this video, Karina Streeter focuses on her work on her honors thesis, entitled "The Politics of The Erotic: Echoes of Audre Lorde in Dee Rees’s Pariah.” She discusses the way she came upon the topic for the paper and some of the struggles she faced in the process of working on the project.   Kit McCall-Crum discusses his experience as an openly transgender person on campus, describing the queer joy he has felt being at Otterbein. Included in this is Kit’s process and feelings about discovery and transitioning while at Otterbein.

  Liz Blanchard chooses to focus on the way Otterbein has given her a safe space to openly express her queer identity. She also describes an event she was able to plan and host through her campus job, a queer open mic night.
