Abstract

Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common cardiac arrhythmias. From diagnosis to treatment, some risk factors are left unnoticed. Patients need the knowledge to know the signs and symptoms of atrial fibrillation. Nurse Practitioners are in an excellent position to help patients recognize and when to seek medical attention with this cardiac arrhythmia and other disease processes.
