Abstract
The purpose of this practicum experience was for a practicing athletic trainer to immerse themselves into a CAATE accredited athletic training education program classroom setting. The athlete trainer was responsible for creating and delivering lecture presentations and lab activities, utilizing research for class discussion and assignments, and acting as a mentor for athletic training students.
The athletic training worked in collaboration with a professor to gain an understanding for how to deliver classroom materials and how to manage a classroom in-person and virtually. The main goal for this practicum experience was to gain confidence in a classroom setting and provide guidance and support for undergraduate athletic training students.
