Otterbein Review
The Otterbein Review was published by the Philomathean Literary Society starting in April of 1909. Whereas the concurrently published Otterbein Aegis (published by the Philophronean Literary Society) was a monthly journal containing essays, fiction, and lengthy analytical pieces, the Review was a weekly newspaper of between 6 and 8 pages in length, written in a journalistic style, and focusing on current campus events. The final edition of the Otterbein Review was published on June 11, 1917. The following year The Tan and Cardinal, a newspaper published jointly by all four Otterbein literary societies, took the place of both the Review and the Aegis.
