Harambee
First published by Otterbein's African-American Student Union (AASU) in 1993, Harambee was a newsletter and literary journal dedicated to informing, and amplifying the voices of, students of color at Otterbein. Featuring articles about Black history, essays and poems by students of color, tips and advice for academic success, and reports from diverse student organization and campus events, Harambee provides a look into the lives of BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx, and Indigenous students at Otterbein in the 1990s and early 2000s.
