The culminating project for the creative writing majors in English is a 20-60 page manuscript of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or dramatic writing accompanied by a critical preface theoretically, historically, or formally situating the work within its genre's traditions. At the end of the academic year, students read excerpts from their projects for peers and professors at the annual Senior Readings celebration.
