Item Description
Color: Beige, striped with red, green, and blue plush velvet and off white organza
Fiber Content: Plain woven with satin stripes, silk and cotton backing
Style: Jacket bodice
Neckline: Square, trimmed with plush and filled wit silk organza
Waist: Fitted, pointed peplum on front and back
Sleeve: Straight with plush epaulettes, cuffs, with organza
Closure: Front opening; hooks with thread eyes
Condition of Object: Needed white silk replaced at collar, cuffs, and bibs
August 1987: Removed white organza and washed with Orvus. 3 panels in bib were interchanged to hide holes in back. Not too successful, but solution would be to replace entirety if the right fabric can be found.
