Item Description
Bodice:
Style: Off white silk crepe
Garment: Lace collar with scoop neck
Sleeve: Puffed sleeve- pleated bodice
Decorative Detail: Peach streamers and rosette (removed)
Condition of Object: Velcro on waist- poor- torn inside
8/3/87: Peach streamer removed, stitches removed to release monobosom, fullness could have been tucked into belt. Velcro removed- adhesive treated- Iron on tope still inside. While lining is shot- should be replaced, however garment is displayable as is if a good steam us given. Lace may be a late addition since it covers one of the petals made of silk.
Silk:
Garment: Long; smocking on skirt, chain stitched tucks
Decorative Detail: Small train
Condition of Object: Fine- no problems- silk in excellent shape
