Materials/Description of item

A printed form, titled a "General Warranty Deed," filled in by hand to deed land from Walter Bishop and his wife Isabela (also spelled Isabella) Bishop to John B. Cornell, dated March 8th 1853. Specifically, the husband and wife deeded "the North East quarter of the farm known as the property of John Bishop, "which contains twenty three acres and ninety two and a half rods," to John B. Cornell for "the sum of seven hundred dollars."
