Materials/Description of item
This document is a "State of Ohio, Division of Building and Loan Associations Certificate of Claim Against the Columbian Building and Loan Company." Dated to June 29, 1933, it certifies that the Columbian Building and Loan Company owes a debt of $1567.75 to Geneva or Royal Cornell, 281 S. State St., Westerville, Ohio. The backside of the document is penned and stamped with the "Dividends Paid," presumably keeping track of the money gradually paid to the Cornell family from 1935 through 1945.
