The bank record for a $50.00 loan that Alice Blanche Cornell and Holland Cornell received from G. W. Meeker and the Bank of Westerville.
"Westerville, April 3th 1895. Eight Months after date (?) promise to pay to the order of G. W. Meeker fifty dollars at Bank of Westerville, Westerville, O. Value received with 8% interest after maturity. Due Dec. 5/ '95. Alice Blanche Cornell, Holland Cornell." The back is signed by G. W. Meeker beneath an inked stamp that reads: "For value received, I hereby guarantee payment of the value note..."
