Materials/Description of item
A collection of newspaper clippings, largely comprised of poetry, and two handwritten poems, one by John B. Cornell and the other by L. L. Merriss. It is possible these handwritten poems are original, but it was also common to pen copies of favorite poems to include in letters or personal journals in the 19th century.
