Pressure and time…this is geology defined in simple terms. I sit on these rocks and imagine all that they have witnessed over millions upon millions of years. Those are the kind of numbers and thoughts that cause my brain to lose all awareness of my daily routines. However, it does put into perspective our real place on this planet. In geologic terms, we humans have been here for a mere split second. The environmental degradation caused by man to the Earth has happened in a microsecond when you compare that to the length of time it took to create this beautiful place in the Universe. We are very close to a time when the Earth will begin yet another cycle of purification and renewal. This is not a negative thing. Rather, it is evolution. Everything has a Spirit. All Spirits that are connected will be part of the renewal.
