The Humanities Center at Otterbein University began in 1987 thanks to a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, alongside gifts from generous donors. Since then, the Humanities Center has sponsored fellowships, numerous grants, conference travel, research and internship support, and more. These "flipbooks," first published in 2025, chronicle some of the many ways the Humanities Center supports humanities students and faculty members at Otterbein.
