Silhouette: Donor has used old fabric to make a hat. The form underneath is modern. Round shaped hat is covered with cream silk. Then over the silk is lace.
Decorative Detail: Flowers in back
Condition of Object: OK- silk is shattered
May 1994: Hat is disassembled. Lace and flowers are kept, form and shattered taffeta are discarded. Lace is in excellent condition.
