Abstract
Eosinophilic esophagitis is newer autoimmune disease recognized by healthcare providers. This poster will include information on the pathophysiology of the disease process, treatment, nursing considerations, sign and symptoms, and diagnostic criteria. Patients with eosinophilic esophagitis are often misdiagnosed for years before treatment is started. This poster is to spread awareness of the disease process.
