Governance

The Otterbein University Governance System consists of three constituent assemblies (Faculty Assembly, Student Assembly, Staff Assembly); a University Senate, with representatives selected by the three constituent assemblies; a set of standing committees; a set of hearing boards; and the University Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is legally the final authority of the University. The governance system of Otterbein University is based on the principles of transparency in the policy-making process and inclusion, participation, and representation of all constituent groups in the creation of University policy.
